Caught a bit of BGT last night (yes, occasionally watch trash TV to keep up with things!) and caught a burst of ... the Girls Aloud cover of Jump! High-profile usage such as this is sooooo useful for helping to establish the genuine prospect of audience appeal (and in this case, given the 'family' nature of the show, for cross-generational appeal), along with radio plays, magazine features, use of music in ads etc
